At KKL Energy Assessors, it is our policy to provide a detailed Improvement Report, illustrating the most cost-effective measures to improve your buildings BER Rating, and save you money on fuel bills. This will put your energy rating into perspective so that you can make informed decisions on where to make investments. We believe that we offer the best value for money service in Ireland.
KKL Energy Assessors was established by Kevin McCourt in 2008 to provide a comprehensive BER service for new and existing domestic and commercial properties. Kevin is an honours graduate of Civil Engineering and has spent the past 15 years working on a variety of projects ranging from new residential, industrial and commercial property to refurbishment of existing property.
Kevin has personal experience of over 300 individual domestic BER assessments to date, and has come across all scenarios and types of property ranging from a property constructed in the 18th century, to new builds and everything in between.
Kevin is the Secretary, and Cork Regional Representative of the BER Assessors Association and meets regularly with his Munster counterparts in order to keep up to date and fully informed of all new developments.
Kevin also has experience of over 50 individual Commercial BER assessments to date ranging from pubs, small shops, large office complexes and warehouses. Kevin has completed courses in Advanced Commercial BER training, attended the BRE Innovation Centre in Watford, UK to see first-hand the current energy efficient technologies for both new and retro-fit installations, and also regularly attends events hosted by the Institute of Engineers Ireland.
